A Roadtrip In Jaipur

It was a rainy season , weather was fine and there was no sun that day. When i came back at home, i decided to go out with one of my friend. I called him and he said Yes. After few minutes he picked me from my home. I had a camera and he too. The purpose was just photography. But actually, its not just clicking pictures, its about keeping your eyes Open.

Panna meena ki bavri
Stepwell known as Panna meena ki Bavri

On the way there are some elephants and some magnificent views of cut rocks as amber is located on a hilly area, so the way is in between rocks and some landscapes too. There are also some gates while entering in the town, sometimes buses and vehicles get struck there due to traffic congestion.

First we went to a place, which was unknown for me. It was not other than a Step well (Bavri) which is known as "Panna Meena ki Bavdi"(a step well dedicated to someone). There were some peoples around including tourists. This step well is wide and has many steps. Bundi city is famous for step wells but you will definitely find some in other cities like jaipur and jodhpur.
You don't need to take any tickets here.

Some peacocks were screaming which made a delightful atmosphere. There are some fishes inside this well, and the another attraction is that colour of water seems green.(see pictures)
After an hour, it was dark so there was nothing to do or see. We headed back to home then.On the way we saw some beautiful views of amber fort which is near to this Step well. Most of the peoples don't know about this place, even those who are living in Jaipur.

Visiting such places is best in rainy season. Evening time is fine if can get there as its a bit away from the city. Though some good accommodation is easily available near this place, but i don't have any idea about prices so make sure to check before your visit.

Zoo is one of the best places to visit in the city. In Indore City, Name of the zoo is "Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya", which is a good place to visit.

This is almost near to the city centre where you can reach easily. There are many kind of animals and birds in this zoo. When you see beautiful and colourful birds, it makes your day. If you are an animal lover then this is nice place to visit.

Personal Experiences :

It was a Sunday evening. the day was a bit rainy but at the time we headed to destination, weather was clear. At first we took tickets, which were about 30 rupees per head i think. At entrance of this zoo there is a big gate with statues of animals of this zoo, which i found attractive for tourists.

At first there, You will see a red coloured parrot which you will definitely like very much. I like birds specially but if that's about a coloured bird, we all are crazy for those colours. Right!

After few minutes raining started. As it was evening so weather became a bit cold. Though we continued this. Then you see some black bucks. These are one of the best things. Its black long horns make it more beautiful. In some parts of Rajasthan, Black bucks are worshipped by a particular religion. Why not! indeed they deserve.

Now after black bucks its turn for the biggest animal of Jungle. Its an Elephant. There were around 6-7 elephants at the zoo. all are Asian elephants. A natural atmosphere is given to these animals which is praiseworthy. This place is also good for kids as many of the animals and birds are new for them.

After few minutes we were a bit tired as its a big zoo with many species including birds and animal kingdom. Now you see a peacock sharing his space with parrots. isn't it cool! This picture shows, like humans these birds also share their space with others. White feathers of this peacock is really very attractive.

An Unknown Turn

Hey ! Few days ago i was going somewhere via an highway. In this blog i am going to share what i see there.

an unknown location
Unknown Location

It was a Sunday morning. I woke up at 5 and left home at 6. It was a ride on my bike. I was alone that morning. When i was passing through that highway, i saw some unique rock like structures that i hadn't seen before near that city. then after having a look at this, i took a turn without thinking about this.

After this turn on the way, i didn't found such structures even after covering around a kilometre. There was no one whom i can ask about it. it was a forest area surround with green trees. After this i found that structure that i was looking for.

As i found what i was searching so I took a deep breath. I was feeling good that finally i reached but it was like one face of a coin. I can see that place on a height but i couldn't find route to reach on the top. Though i took some pictures and selfies there. so it was worth going there. I felt those landscapes near to me that was awesome.

All these things like Nature, some unique structures and that turn made my day much better than usual boring days. that's the only reason i like to go some new and unknown places sometimes.

Camel Ride At Pushkar In Ajmer

Pushkar is known for Camel fair and its rich culture. This fair is generally organised in months of november. Riding a camel maybe a great experience in Pushkar.

Camel Ride is one of the best experiences i had. There is a large difference between riding a motor bike or a luxury car And riding a camel. I don't have much words to experience this.

Camel is mostly found in Rajasthan. Around 70 Percent of camels are found in Rajasthan in total camel of Rajasthan. So You can found camels easily in almost all tourist cities of rajasthan.  Rajasthan is a home of Camels.

When i headed to Pushkar i didn't thought of this but when i saw someone riding it, i felt something to have this feel. that's the only reason i did this.

When i sat on its back, i felt good as it was in sitting position. But when it stood up it made me feeling nervous as it bent too much in forward side. After this it started walking on the way. It was good at starting but after a few minutes it started running and the caretaker of this camel was a kid (around 13) who was going away of it, so it felt me a bit worried.

As it crossed nearby areas and then comes a sand areas so it was very nice to ride it there. This is the only animal which can run on sand without getting much tired.

Horses are also available for ride in pushkar so its up to you what is preferable. Though you can take pictures.

Which Places I Visited during this Ride:

Rose farms, A Haveli (Used for a bollywood film shooting- Karan Arjun) , and A desert.

There are rose farms in Pushkar so next time whenever you go there you can buy Gulkand(made of Rose petals) from pushkar market. You can also take some great shots and selfies in desert sand areas of Pushkar during your camel ride, as its a bit far from pushkar town. This desert sand area gives you a feel like Thar Desert of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.

Cost of Ride:

Its cost depends up to time you visit. I visited this in month of January. It cost me around 300 Rupees for a 20-25 minute ride. This may vary accordingly so don't bargain much.

Best time to Visit:

I will prefer to visit this place in either start of winter or start of summer. i.e. months of September-October or January-February. But its up to you, as suitable.

Jaipur is capital of rajasthan. this is also known as pink city. this is called so because the colour of buildings was in geruva (a light brown colour) by sawai man singh. this is a beautiful city which have many destinations to visit. Most of these places are related to history and also represents unique architecture.
Rajasthan is full of historical view as well as forts and different kind of cultural festivals. Jaipur city is surrounded by walls around the city which are known as "parkota", which were used in ancient times to protect from enemies.

Indian railways is one of world's biggest railway networks which occupies in almost all parts of India. Indian railway is biggest source of income for Indian Government.

Condition of Railways:

A Visit To Rock Garden At Chandigarh

Chandigarh is a city which comes in union territory of India. This is one of the clean city that's why this is among smart city of India.
This city is in between two states of India i.e. Punjab and Haryana so this is also capital of both Punjab and Haryana. Chandigarh is a "city of Peace". This is a well arranged and designed with planning.

I like the culture of this city. There are many places to visit to feel about the culture and lifestyle of this city.

I stayed three days in this city that is enough for visiting all the tourist places in this city. My hotel was near to almost all tourist places so it was convenient for me to reach those places. This is really very necessary to choose a hotel which is near to tourist places.

Rock Garden

This is a garden which is made of Sculptures, rock structures, and unique architectural designs. These all things are made beautifully that you will attract to these ancient looking antiques.

It was an evening. After booking a cab I headed to Rock garden which is about 10 km. which took 15 minutes. Then after taking a ticket which costs 30 rs. I was In. After the entrance, there were some designs which were made of stones. Some were as usual and some of them were attractive, no doubt.

Designs are not only made on stone, But Even wood is also structured in an attractive way. Instead of calling it a garden They should call it "Museum". Although a natural touch is given here. It's not just a garden it's more than that.

The most interesting thing here is that its made of industrial and home waste material. These items were being recycled and used to make such beautiful designs. Isn't it a good place. This is spread in a large area.

wooden look

Stairs at garden

These all things shows dedication and hard work of a person who was an employee of archaeological dept. of  Govt.

One day someone noticed his work which he was doing just as an artist, not as an employee of that department. Then Govt. officials realized that this is a nice art and they should praise him for his excellent work. then they supported him by both financially and for expanding his work.

Name of that person is Nek chand. He started all this alone and ended with some other members also. But Credited goes to him because he started all this alone.

This place gives message of Preserving our nature and not to pollute this. If someone can make these designs from a recycled material then why not we can save nature.

Attractions:

The rock garden is so designed that it looks natural and gives a feeling of being near to something natural. Though it was built with a purpose to make something creative. Designs are extremely beautiful and alluring.

The thing i like most here is cave like look and a wooden structures on trees.
The second thing I like is an artificial waterfall which doesn't look artificial. This is a beautiful waterfall which gives a natural feeling when waterfall down of it.

This place is good for selfie lovers also. So enjoy your trip whenever you go there.
